To coincide with the Asia- Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art inbetweenspaces a Brisbane-based artist run initiative is running a CONSTELLATIONS project- exhibiting art works by emerging artists and artist-run-initiatives from across the Asia Pacific Region. CONSTELLATIONS will install art across a wide range of in-between spaces in the Brisbane CBD.
…METRO ARTS GALLERY TWO
For the launch of CONSTELLATIONS inbetweenspaces is organising an accumulative video screening project in gallery two of Metro Arts. From the 7-11 December the reel will continuously evolve as numerous artist run initiatives and organizations contribute individual works. The project involves inbetweenspaces, CPU:PRO, Scratch Tile (Japan) and 3 in 1 (Singapore). The opening event is at 6pm December 10.
Artists include: Hannah Edmunds, Scott Morrison, Eve Roleston, Kaori Tazoe and Michael Yuen.
….METRO ARTS FOURTH FLOOR
For the launch of CONSTELLATIONS inbetweenspaces is curating a one night event at !Metro Arts. A range of projects from local and international artists will transform the building’s entire 4th floor into a series of temporary exhibition sites. The project will open 6pm December 10 at !Metro Arts.
Artists include: Santina Amato, Lloyd Barrett, Christopher Cipollone, Alexandra Feu’u, Brooke Ferguson, Tomoki Kakitani, Joaquin Palencia, Johnathon Titheridge and Zheng Yunhan.
Xiao Yun is part of this group exhibition, OH! Open House.

Exhibiting now at the Esplanade theater street cone, is a community art project conducted by stephanie and xiao yun, involving 11 different homes
( from children, youth to elderly). Workshops are conducted where they learned to do handmade recycled paper and design the paper which they had made after that.
The art works created by them will be exhibited from now till 16 Aug 2009.
